Our afterschool Youth Climbing Club allows kids to get some physical exercise after a long day of school. We have passionate Instructors who love to climb and share climbing games and skills with kids. Kids get to climb in a supportive and motivating environment. Challenging but not overwhelming, these programs accommodate individual needs while helping to develop teamwork and leadership skills. Our Climbing Clubs runs in four 8-week sessions unless otherwise noted. Trailhead Tiny Tots for ages 4-5 Saturday from 9-10am. Basecamp Buddies for ages 6-8 on Mondays, Tuesday, or Thursdays from 4-5:30pm. Ridgeline Rangers for ages 9-11 on Mondays, Tuesday, or Thursdays from 5:30-7pm. Summit Seekers for ages 12+ on Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:30-6:30pm. Bonus! As part of their Climbing Club enrollment, each child receives a BRC Membership* while enrolled in Climbing Club! *Climbing Club Memberships do not include: Guest Passes, First Timer Passes, or Climb Pass.

Wheel Throwing Classes for Ages 8+, Teens, and Adults // Make-Together Handbuilding Workshops
Have you heard the news?! Tinker has expanded into a new space called Clay Hub! This sunny, inviting studio offers more wheel throwing and handbuilding classes as well as an (adult) membership space. Wheel throwing classes begin at age 8, and continue for teens, as well as adults. Wheel throwing is a very fun and engaging process. After learning how to center the clay, build the floor of the pot, and pull the walls, students will experiment with building bowls, cups, plates, altering the form, and more. Students learn surface decoration and glazing techniques with our gorgeous range of dinnerware safe glazes. Clay Hub also hosts Make-Together Workshops for kids + their grown ups on select Friday afternoons!

We have assisted a punk rock singer who took voice lessons in order to expand his vocal training, guided a grandmother through her piano lessons so she could accompany her granddaughter who played flute, and welcomed a father and son guitar duo. At the Center, we teach people who just want to sing in the shower or serious students getting ready to audition for Juilliard (and everyone in between).

Jump into fun in our Colorado State Licensed BASE child care programs that meet the needs of every child. We offer a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, STEM, active play, sports and games, swimming, and much more. Children will have time for homework assistance and a few snacks along the way. Children from Ryan, Lafayette, and Peak to Peak elementary schools are provided transportation at dismissal to the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center. Pioneer Elementary students will walk with staff from the school to the BBC.

Your child will participate in engaging activities throughout the day including swimming, crafts, active games, team building, and more! Please ensure your child has lunch, two snacks, and a water bottle for the program daily. Due to staffing and field trip limits, the deadline for full-day registration will be one week before each full-day program. Once registered, you will receive an email link to complete your child's state-mandated licensing profile through ePACT. Your ePACT profile must be completed before your child attends camp.

SMBA has been creating champions on and off the bike through outdoor play, MTB skill development, team camaraderie, and fun in the Boulder County area for over 30 years. Offering fun, on-trail ride programs for riders ages 6-18 who want to ride singletrack and explore trail systems in and around Boulder County. Our 8-week spring and fall team programs include after school and Sunday ride options with van transportation to and from ride locations for riders in 2nd grade and up who have mastered basic mountain bike skills, are comfortable riding on singletrack trails, and want to ride bikes with other kids their age. Our K-1 and 2nd - 5th grade Dirt Riders programs are 1-day / week, meet at the trailhead afterschool programs for young riders who can ride, but are newer to riding on singletrack.
