Wheel Throwing Classes for Ages 8+, Teens, and Adults // Make-Together Handbuilding Workshops
Clay Hub is a bright, welcoming pottery studio offering after school wheel throwing classes for kids and teens, as well as classes, workshops, and membership options for adults. Students (starting at age 8) learn the full wheel throwing process — from centering clay and building the floor of a pot, to pulling walls and shaping bowls, cups, and plates. As they grow their skills, they’ll also explore altering forms and adding surface design. Students finish each piece with our range of dinnerware-safe glazes, creating functional art they can truly use. For families who want to create side by side, we also host Make-Together Workshops for kids and their grown-ups on select Friday afternoons. And when school is out, kids can join our Clay Hub School Day Off Camps, where they can explore both wheel throwing and handbuilding in a fun, focused environment. Whether your child is brand new to clay or building on their skills, Clay Hub provides a supportive space to learn and create in community.
